The Communications and Publications Directorate plays a distinct role in transferring the corporate identity and goals of the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education. This Directorate nurtures the vision of the Department of Education through media relations, as well as liaison with internal and external stakeholders. The Communications and Publications Directorate is responsible for the profiling of a range of programmes which ensure quality education for learners, and ethical work environments for all employees of the Department of Education. Moreover, this Directorate produces publications, and is the home of the Departmental newsletter, Edu News.
