MEDIA INVITATION

Celebrating Learn About Healthy Living HIV/Aids GET Curriculum Project Phase One and Launch of Phase Two

The General Education and Training Curriculum Directorate in partnership with Media in Education Trust, Swiss Agency for Development and Co-operation, Independent Newspaper and Unilever Foundation will celebrate the success of Phase One, Learn About Healthy Living and will Launch Phase Two at Coastlands Convention Centre, from 10H030 to 13H00 on Tuesday, 4 November 2003.

Materials have been developed and distributed to over 1 320 rural schools in KZN, which supports educators, learners and the school community to deal with HIV/Aids as part of the school curriculum. This Project with an holistic approach focuses on health living with a message: "your health is in your hands". Educators across all regions have been involved and this project has successfully made rural teachers published authors. Materials will be on display.

Attending the launch will be educators, learners, international funders, officials and social partners.
