Launch of KZN-DEC Bursaries for Initial Teacher Training

Good news for future teachers, the Minister of Education and
Culture, Mr Narend Singh and the Chief Executive Officer of the KZN Department of Education, Professor CRM Dlamini will officially launch the
KZN-DEC’s R1.5 million bursaries fund for initial teacher training to take
place on Friday, 19 December 2003 at the DLI Hall, No. 5 DLI Avenue, Greyville
at 10H00.
The Department has already screened 78 teacher trainees to
benefit R20 000.00 each to further their studies for the 2004 academic year at
the Universities of Zululand and Natal.
The media is invited to give coverage to this momentous event by encouraging
future matriculants to further their studies in the field of education at
tertiary level.
