Rules

• Members may not charge a fee and show the videos to an audience

• Membership is per school and not individuals

• Members can borrow ten (10) videos for a loan period of 14 school days

• Requests and renewals must be done by telephone or fax

• Once membership is confirmed members will receive booking forms and a catalogue

• Only bookings on the official booking form will be accepted

• Members are not allowed to copy videos

• Members who contravene the Copyright Act will be held responsible for any fines incurred

• Videos are to be used for educational purposes only 

• All videos on loan are to be returned to ELITS on or before the due date

 General Information

• The services offered by ELITS Video Libraries are available free of charge to all schools in KwaZulu Natal

• This service operates from four centres and schools are to use the centre nearest to them

• The video titles available from ELITS Video Libraries cover a wide range of subject areas to support the curriculum

• A free postal service is available to users who can not come to the centre

• A catalogue with all the media on the shelves is available in hardcopy and online
