e-Registration DBE Website for the June 2018 Senior Certificate (Amended) Examinations
On Friday, 21 September 2018, the KZN MEC for Education, Hon. Mthandeni Dlungwana, is holding a Matric Activation Blitz, where he is going to interact with learners and parents, impressing upon them that on 25 September 2018, it is going to be exactly 20 days before Grade 12 Learners will sit for the 2018 NSC Examination. This Blitz, which will take place at Bridge City Mall, is going to include artists, soccer players and other public figures. The Department is grateful to the management of Bridge City Mall for their cooperation.
Indigenous Music and Dance Provincial Finals Competition: The Indigenous Music and Dance Provincial Finals Competition will be hosted by the KZNDOE Directorate : Co- Curricular Support Service and the details are as follows: Date : 25 - 27 September 2018 | Venue: Toti Civic Centre | Time : 09H00

Application for Duplicate Matric Certificate

A copy of ID document and all previous results must be submitted with the application form. A copy of the original Subject Certificate/ results will assist in the process. The prescribed fee for duplicate of certificate should be paid by means of a cash deposit or an electronic transfer payment into the following account: BANK ABSA; BRANCH 630525; ACCOUNT 4072483555; REFERENCE 05024033

The prescribed fee is R97 for a certificate and R40 for confirmation letter obtainable upon submitting the above. The process takes 3 to 6 months. You will indicate the nearest District office to which you will collect your certificate, when it is ready for collection you shall receive a message. Application can be made at your nearest District office.

The new amounts are R107 and R45.
